Filming an All Nighter on Dead Island

Planning for an island escape at midnight

That was the plan. Bitmob was working with a few people from other media outlets on content for Dead Island when it was launching. The idea was to play the game till completion, starting in the evening and going till the game was done, except we didn’t know how long the game was and how long we were going to be filming. There was a concentrated effort on the capacity each card we had to shoot with, we didn’t want to overshoot and not have footage available when the game was completed. So we undershot and were surprised when people started finishing it early, barely before the blue daylight had started to peek into the windows. It was a fun night with friends.
